He is a member of the American Planning Association and is registered with the American Institute of Certified Planners. He is also the founder of Art VULUPS (Art as a Vehicle to Understand Land Use Planning and Sustainability), an award-winning collaborative project in which planners and artists share their talents to promote sustainable land use development choices through curiosity and civic dialogue engagement.
